SUNDAY SCHOOL

We Value God’s Message

God’s Message is revealed through the study of Scripture, supported by church tradition, sound reasoning, and our own experience.

With an ongoing desire to learn and grow in our faith, our understanding of the Biblical teachings is supported by the connections and conversations with others following their own faith journey.

Our members engage in intentional faith development through their relationships with Christ and with each other. No matter the current understanding or conviction you hold regarding your current beliefs, together we will grow in God's grace.

At Lone Oak United Methodist, we offer many Sunday School groups which offer guidance for both the foundation and formation of our spiritual beliefs. Classes meet from 9:15 - 10:15 am on Sunday mornings.

But the time is coming—and is here!—when true worshippers will worship in spirit and truth. The Father looks for those who worship him this way. 24 God is spirit, and it is necessary to worship God in spirit and truth.”
