ADULT MINISTRY GROUPS
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN
Lone Oak United Methodist Women has a long history of service for God. Mission and service projects include:
Relief kits are sent annually to the United Methodist Committee On Relief and distributed across the world.
Hundreds of shoeboxes are filled, wrapped, and sent each Christmas to children and adults in need.
Meals are prepared and served to the homeless and less fortunate on the margins of our community.
If you are interested in learning more about our UMW circles, our church office can provide you with additional information and resources.
Our Young Adult group strives to actively engage young families in our community in a safe, yet comfortable, place to meet and learn together about the Word of God. This group hosts two events annually, the Easter Eggs-travaganza and the Halloween Bash, providing a safe alternative for families to gather and grow closer to God and one another. There are monthly get togethers for fun, fellowship, and Bible study. Childcare is available for these meetings.
The Young Adults seek to engage in our community, participating in Family Kitchen and feeding college students at the Murray State Wesley Foundation. They are always looking to find new opportunities to help our community. If you would like to join this fledgling ministry, check them out on Facebook.
UNITED METHODIST MEN
The United Methodist Men meet monthly for food, fellowship, and support of area missions. All men are invited to these monthly meetings.
