From its beginning, Methodism has sought to pair warm hearts (those met by a recognition of God’s love) with active hands (those willing to be put to God’s use). Lone Oak UMC believes that Jesus can take us into unexpected – even uncomfortable – places as we seek to be people of God. But we also believe that risk-taking mission and service is what reaches most broadly, embraces most fully, and transforms most deeply.

We are proud to partner with established ministries in our area and contribute our time, prayers, resources, and assistance, as we seek to broaden the reach of God’s transforming love.
SCHOLARSHIPS
We recognize that God gives abundantly, meeting both our spiritual and physical needs beyond what is sufficient. God pours blessing upon us and compels us to turn outward and give with extravagant generosity. These scholarships are supported by the congregation and awarded annually to worthy students.
